For SO long I've dreamed of having a pair of brown and white spectator pumps from the late 40's through the early 50's. The perfect pair that I could slip my feet into and they would fit me oh so perfectly and they would be in perfect condition and be extremely affordable. I've been looking for these for almost 10 years. They just don't exist. Either they are in bad condition and they are my size, or they are in perfect condition and made to fit a 5 year old girl, or they are my size and in good condition but cost more than I'm willing to spend. But today I met with the lovely Zoe Rios who is an extremely talented shoemaker and she has agreed to make my spectator dreams come true at last!!!! I've only met for the first consultation and there are more to come but these shoes are definitely the inspiration shoe and they will look similar to these. Best of all they will fit my feet and my feet alone! To top it off, I'm having them lined in pale pink! I think once I receive them, I just might sleep with them every night. Is that taking it too far?
