Toothpaste Too Pretty To Use

I know this isn't really fashion related but I guess it is somewhat beauty related. The June '09 issue of House Beautiful magazine has an article entitled "Everybody's Favorite Everything" which is about various interior designers and what their favorites are from, their favorite color, to their favorite dishes, to their favorite toothpaste, yep, that's right, toothpaste. I really enjoyed reading all the quirky little facts about these people and I noticed a common toothpaste brand among the designers named Marvis, specifically in the Jasmin Mint flavor. Being the curious type, I of course looked this up and found out that one tube costs $10.50. The tube design is beautiful and I'm sure that these designers have the perfect bathrooms to match the perfect little toothpaste tubes, but I mean really, $10.50 for toothpaste?! If I pay that much, my breath better stay fresh all day, even after eating! I guess you could just buy one tube to keep out on the counter for when guests come over, or for your own amusement and just keep the ugly Colgate in the drawer. I think it would be terribly funny to read of someone doing this and keeping the tube so long that the toothpaste inside becomes petrified! HA! If you would like to have some toothpaste too pretty to use, you can purchase yours here.
