Another lazy day and some more designer favorites

The weekend was as follows:

1. Watched the never ending rain come down, so dreary, but we needed it SO badly, so I'm thankful for it.

2. My parents are in the process of buying a new house and want to do some painting before they move in so I was helping my mom choose colors over the phone with the aid of the Sherwin Williams website. That was a new experience! I mailed her the final choices today.

3. I made an Etsy sale! A lovely ivory crocheted wrap that will be used in a wedding. I was so flattered!

4. I did some major blog networking and searching and found some really lovely new vintage blogs. So hello to all my new vintage blogger friends!

5. Shelled out $500 for a new set of tires. Booooo!

6. Found these lovely black grapes that are huge. Each of them are about the size of half a plum! Very sweet.

On to more fashionable things, overall I'm quite disappointed in what's available for Spring. Most of the casual pieces are so raggedy looking. The only thing I'm loving is the formal wear and you can't wear that to go shopping at the grocery, or can you?

Here are some of the formal pieces by Venexiana and they all scream Barbie dream dress!

  1. That first dress is just beyond gorgeous! Love the sheen of the fabric...
And I agree about the Spring runways!!! So far, they are so boring!
Hopefully that means I won't be too tempted to go shopping come spring (doubt that very much though!).

  3. Oh what lovely dresses! I like the last one best! I'm too lazy to check out the spring runway looks, but at least it seems I'm not missing much.

  4. The second dress reminds me of illustrations from a fairy tale. I love it (I'm partial to tangerine as it is).
