I'm sorry I haven't been regularly posting. I'm afraid as we get closer to the holidays my posting will only continue to be erratic, but I think it's kinda that way with everyone. Things just seem to get turned on their heads from October through February.Well I promise I'll have a fulfilling post for you tomorrow but right now I wanted to leave you with another pretty find from Hemlock Vintage. My last post about Hemlock resulted in Elsita of The Hidden Seed purchasing the gorgeous blue dress with bows down the back. Doesn't it look gorgeous on her?! It always brings me such joy to help people find the things they are looking for. I really need to think about being a personal shopper but I need to move to a more supportive location for that first!
Anyway, wouldn't this just be perfect for Thanksgiving?! And it's in such a wearable size too at 42"/44" in the bust, 31" in the waist and 40" in the hips which would translate to about a size 12/14 US in today's standards. I love how the belt buckles at the back, not the front, something very unexpected! No price yet as I think it's a new item, but I'm sure if you contact the owner she can help you out!

This is seriously stunning!!!
ReplyDeleteomg I love it! Especailly the collar and bow.

Very chic and something you could wear with a great deal of panache (I love that word!). Maybe if my current diet starts working . . .
ReplyDeleteWow, that is so gorgeous! It's such an elegant, ladylike dress. I can imagine Grace Kelly or Audrey Hepburn wearing something like this!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! even thpough you've said it's a 31" waist it looks tiny! So sophisticated, i love the sailor style collar, so pretty! xxx
ReplyDeleteOh I'm sure the seller has the garment pinned back on the mannequin as that will always make a garment look better when it's perfectly smooth. So the excess fabric is behind the dummy where you can't see it, same for the reverse shot.
ReplyDeleteweird. i never would have thought to put the belt on like that.
ReplyDeleteStunning coat what an awsome little find!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous dress! Far too big for me, though.

Fantastically beautiful, wildly elegant coat. I would relish the chance to own and wear anything that stunning.
ReplyDeleteTons of hugs & thanks for all of your wonderful comments, honey!

Oh, it's wonderful!
ReplyDeleteAnd I totally (as you know!) think you should be a personal shopper/stylist! You could do it virtually - most shops have online (or are online) anyways so locality wouldn't matter. When you begin, let me know!!!
