Gosh this is such a hard question to answer!! If I had to choose one movie to take with me to a deserted island, that is if I had the capability of viewing a movie on a deserted island, it would be Enchanted April. To me, viewing that movie is like a drug, it's just so calming and reassuring. I love everything about it, the scenery, the actors, the costumes, and the storyline. Ironically, I don't even own a copy of it. For the longest time it wasn't available on DVD, but recently it's been released on DVD. I'm waiting to get a used copy at a good price but I might not be able to wait much longer!
Thanks so much for your question!!

What is your favorite movie of all time?

It's not an easy question...there are so many movies I adore...perhaps: De Lovely...it's a wonderful movie and Cole Porter was a genius.
ReplyDeleteI just came across the other day to that picture you have on the top of your sidebar...and I fall in love with it :-) You have a great taste!
I'm so happy to catching up with your blog!
Much love: Evi
A film called The Fall starring Lee Pace. I'm forever bigging it up because it had such a lousy release and was completely overlooked. It's beautiful too look at, sort of deep but shallow at the same time. Well acted, fantastic design...I could go on. I watch it at least once a month so I must love it even more than Singing in the Rain! It must therefore be my favourite and if I was stranded on an island, I'd never get bored of it.

I don't own a copy of my favorite movie, St. Elmo's Fire, either. I need to get on that!
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of this one...I'm going to see if it's on Netflixs! I love a good recommendation!
ReplyDeleteHave you seen Henry and June? I love the whole look of this one!
I haven't ever seen Enchanted April, but it does sound enchanting and it is now April, so I will have to find a DVD to watch before the month is out.
